DIY Terra Cotta Pot Wreath:Garden Charm For Your Home
If you are looking for a charming, rustic, garden inspired DIY piece to display on your front door, patio, front porch or deck, a terra cotta pot wreath may be just the project you are looking for. This wreath combines the warmth of terra cotta with your own creative touches, the possibilities are endless. Perfect for gardeners, crafters or anyone who is looking for that handmaid touch.
What you will need

- Large grapevine wreath. I used a 24″ wreath
- 2 inch and 3 inch clay pots. I used 14 of each
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Heavy duty brown rustic wire
- Artificial succulents and moss
- Acrylic paint and brush

Instructions
- Randomly brush the white acrylic paint onto the mini pots to give them an aged look
- Place the mini pots around the wreath without securing them to find your desired layout
- Alternate the angles and directions of the pots for a natural and whimsical effect
- Using the brown rustic wire, secure the pots to the wreath by threading the wire through the holes in the bottoms of the pots and wrapping it around and through the wreath
- Attach moss and artificial succulents inside the clay pots with hot glue as desired
- Use hot glue as needed to more securely attach the pots to the wreath or each other
- Add any additional embellishments that you may want to include
- Attach a hangar to the top of the wreath using the brown rustic wire
- Make sure it hangs evenly and all the pots are securely attached

I have some additional ideas and suggestions regarding your terra cotta pot wreath. Please keep in mind that your wreath is heavy and you may wish to secure it additionally at the bottom when you hang it. You may also consider putting some fun and whimsical fairy lights on it in the summertime for soft illumination in the area where it is hung. You can put anything on it you wish to make it your own and may want to paint the pots differently than I did mine. During the holidays you can add some festive embellishments to transform it into a holiday decoration. The possibilities are endless.
I have added Amazon links for the supplies you need below. Please note that the wreath that is listed is only 18 inches as that is the largest one I could find on Amazon. I purchased mine at Hobby Lobby
