Santa Shops Early & So Should You: Christmas in July.

Skip the holiday chaos this year. Great reasons to start shopping now so you can spend the holiday season doing the things you really want to do!🎁

If you are anything like me at all, you spend some time throughout the year looking at Pinterest, Tik Tok or You Tube for holiday decorating and baking ideas. You spend time in July and August wandering through the seemingly endless selections of holiday decorating, baking and craft supplies at Hobby Lobby and dream. You make grand plans for doing additional decorating and making beautiful and tasty baked goods for friends and family, packaged in an adorable tin of course. You hope to have time to make some special gifts for loved ones and try some new crafts. Oh! The possibilities are endless.

Then, life gets in the way and before we even see it coming, December roars in like a freight train and we are stuck once again in the endless cycle of stress and pressure trying to do everything we want to do and, frankly, everything we need to do to make Christmas happen. Let’s face it….it is a ton of work!

This year CHOOSE JOY! CHOOSE TIME! CHOOSE PLANNING! This is top tier self care folks! Have time to do some of the things that feed your soul and make you happy. 🎄

Get your shopping done early and SLEIGH THE SEASON!

🎁 Avoid the holiday crowds and hustle bustle, no crowded stores, long lines or delivery delays. More time allows for less impulse buying and better gift choices.

🎁Give really thoughtful gifts, you will have time to consider what your recipient may really want and enjoy instead of settling for a last minute gift purchase.

🎁Spread your Christmas spending out over time. Your wallet, your budget and your credit card statements will thank you!

🎁Give yourself more time for beautiful and creative gift wrapping. No more used, crumpled gift bags! You will have time for custom wrapping, matching tags and bows galore!

🎁Enjoy a much calmer and stress free December. December can actually be for bingeing Hallmark movies, wrapped in a cozy blanket with your family, sipping hot chocolate and eating Christmas cookies -not panic spending.

🎁Have ample time for traditions. Shopping early clears your calendar for tree decorating, a Christmas baking day, Christmas light tours, church services or Christmas programs or any other traditions that are important to you and your people. You could maybe even start a new tradition or two!
